Friday Night Flicks to Screen The Spitfire Grill

Do you love movies? Are you a fan of the cinema? Then join us at the Vineyard Community Church in Springdale, Ohio at 7:00 p.m. for film night. We screen contemporary films, studio blockbusters, independent features, as well as, classic cinema from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Film night presents you with the opportunity to enter into a discussion and dialogue about the meaning of movies and how they impact us.

Movies have the capability of defining and shaping our culture. They are able to illustrate the human condition with all of its frailties and strengths. Movies and the cinema can express our fears, our hopes, our pain, our dreams of a better tomorrow and our triumphs. We will ask the question, where is God in all of this as we explore, discuss and attempt to understand the purpose of movies in our lives. Movie night takes a look at the whole picture, including the artistic, technical, and spiritual components of today’s films.
